China’s Internet population has mushroomed to nearly 400 million people. Recent research by McKinsey shows just how obsessed these people are with the Internet. So how do Chinese netizens spend their time online? How does this differ from other developed and developing markets? What are the implications for marketers? Yuval Atsmon will discuss how McKinsey’s clients are grappling with these questions as they craft their marketing strategies in China.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Mr. Yuval Atsmon is an associate partner in McKinsey & Company’s Shanghai office. Mr. Yuval serves a variety of multinational and Chinese firms in the consumer goods and retailing sectors. He is also a co-author of McKinsey’s annual report on Chinese consumers, which was the topic of an article he authored for the March issue of Harvard Business Review. Mr Yuval earned a Bachelor of Law degree from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Harvard.
